The Refugee Cafe has been chosen as one of just 8 teams in the UK to benefit from the national Feeding The City Start Up cohort.

The amazing 9-month incubation programme, run by Social Enterprise experts King’s Cross Impact Hub, supports sustainable food-related businesses to grow their ideas that benefit communities.

As part of the group we will receive a bursary, advice from our personal coach and a programme of workshops on everything from branding to responsible food ethics, to help make the cafe a huge success over the next 6 months!

“From production to processing and distribution to disposal, our cities are littered with examples of how not to do it. And with empty supermarket shelves and emergency food relief in overdrive due to COVID-19, it’s never been a better time to support innovative local solutions to problems, and move toward a more sustainable food system.”
