”I have been working as part of the Refugee Cafe social media team since mid 2021. I have always wanted to help refugees in the very difficult experience of settling into a new country. In this role I am able to contribute my expertise knowing that it is supporting a great local cause.
What I love most about being part of the Refugee Cafe family is that it really IS like a family, and everyone who is a part of the team has the same goal: to support local refugees through something that we all love and enjoy – food!
It is such a great asset to the community and I am excited for the future of Refugee Cafe and all that we are doing to help refugees in Lewisham. It has been truly wonderful to be a part of this.”
